As Assistant Arts Officer, Rhona McGrath works with the Arts Officer and staff in devising structures and supports for the development of the arts in Sligo as set out in Sligo Arts Plan 2007-2012. She has specific remits in the areas of partnerships, programming, office and financial management including funding applications.

Responsible for the Local Authorities Public Art Programmes.
Project Management of public art commissions initiated by Sligo County Council and Sligo Borough Council and Sligo Arts Services’ Peace III Project Actions.

Biography
The Arts Information and Grants Co-ordinator’s role includes administrative, financial and programme support, responsible for producing the monthly Sligoarts E-Bulletin, the sligoarts.ie website and other communications activities. The role includes responsibility for the administration of annual grants and bursaries, revenue funding and programme funding.
