Culture Night Sligo 2025 Programme Announced

Following an Open Call in May of this year, the 2025 Culture Night Sligo programme is now confirmed, with over 30 events planned for Friday 19 September from 4pm until late throughout Sligo town and county. Applicants could apply under one of three strands for Culture Night events and following assessment, funding was awarded to three Flagship events, four Featured events, and 22 Culture Wide events by the Arts Assessment Panel. In total, approximately €25,000 has been committed to support events across County Sligo on Friday 19 September.

The programme also includes Culture Night Late events, with all three Flagship events and two Featured events offering elements that start or run past 9pm. In addition to the funded programme, Sligo Arts Service will also promote independent events, such as those by Comhaltas and The Hamilton Gallery, which contribute to the night’s diverse line-up. The full Culture Night Sligo programme will be available in due course here: https://culturenight.ie/events/

Culture Night is funded by Sligo County Council Arts Service Department in association with The Arts Council.

Culture Night Late is funded by the Department of Culture, Communications and Sport in support of the Night-Time Economy initiative, and delivered in partnership by Sligo BID and Sligo County Council
