Sligo Artist Network Opportunity
Are you an artist based in Co Sligo. Thanks to Creative Ireland (Sligo) funding, the Sligo Artist Network is offering two artists the opportunity of Interview/written text support sessions delivered by Barry McHugh.
Barry will support the practice of two Network Artists. The support will consist of an artist’s profile interview and written text by Barry Mc Hugh.
Barry McHugh runs Painting in Text a platform that interviews upcoming and established artists on their practice as a way of sharing different approaches to thinking and creating art. Painting in Text was launched in late 2017. Since then it has grown exponentially to include Irish and international artists. https://paintingintext.com/

In your email letter outline why you feel this opportunity would be of a support to you and your practice, have you an upcoming exhibition or performance event that you think this opportunity could work with.
The mentoring supports will be available for two Network artists, opened to emerging, mid career and established artists.
Please note that the timeframe for the interview /written text support can run into 2022.
