In Conversation: Gráinne Hope & Moira Sinclair - Cultural Leadership

Gráinne Hope, founder and Artistic Director of Kids’ Classics, and Moira Sinclair, Chief Executive of the Paul Hamlyn Foundation and Chair of Clore Leadership, will explore the theme of cultural leadership, including its role within the field of arts and health. This lunchtime conversation will include a Q&A session.

The conversation will touch on some of the following topics:

  • Cultural leadership at a time of upheaval for the arts sector and the challenges of adjusting to a post-pandemic work environment
  • The potential role of the arts in supporting society to rebuild, reconnect and come together post-COVID
  • How do we ensure that the inequalities to access and participation that existed before the pandemic are not replicated in a post-pandemic world?
  • The role of Clore Leadership in supporting the training needs of cultural leaders including the skills and competencies that enable leaders to work well
  • The work of the Paul Hamlyn Foundation (UK), including its support in the area of Arts and Health, to encourage and invest in cross-sector partnerships in the building of strong alliances on both local and national levels.

This event is produced by artsandhealth.ie as part of the Arts and Health Conversation Series 2021 and is supported by the Arts Council and the HSE.
