Sligo Youth Theatre presents Exotic Tales of the Arabian Nights

The rich and vibrant tales of the Arabian nights are beautifully and skilfully interpreted by the young actors of Sligo Youth Theatre. A luxurious, visual extravaganza for all the family!  In bringing together all the magic of the ancient worlds of China, Indian and Persia, this production is abundant in the colours, sounds and the exotic culture of the Orient. This classic tale is given new and exciting dimensions by Director Jean-Marie Perinetti.  Princess Sheharazad's is clever and witty, telling a story every night to avoid death at the hands of the dark King Shahryar.  The King becomes entranced by the storytelling unfolding before him. But it is not easy for Sheharazad who must apply all her imagination to conjuring dreamy otherworldly spirits and fantastic visions of love, foreboding and laughter to delight the difficult King.

Sligo Youth Theatre invite you to join them on this magical journey at the Hawkswell Theatre Sligo on Easter Weekend, Thursday 17th, Friday 18th and Saturday 19th April at 8pm. Tickets are €10/€8 conc. Bookings www.hawkswell.com or 071 9161518
