Creative Exchange information and networking event

The Western Development Commission (WDC), through the transnational ‘a creative momentum project’ is organising a free Creative Exchange information and networking event in Castlebar on Tuesday 29 November.  The event is aimed at those working in the creative sector (arts, crafts, design and media & technology) and based in the Western Region (Mayo, Sligo, Roscommon, Leitrim, Galway, Donegal and Clare).

  • Topic: So much data. So little time: Using your online data to grow your creative enterprise
  • Time: 9.30-13.00 followed by lunch and optional 1-2-1 mentoring sessions in afternoon
  • Date: Tuesday, 29 November

The Creative Exchange will include expert presentations, business stories and an interactive workshop on Google Analytics. Amongst the speakers are:

  • Kevin Neary, Connectors Marketplace: modern buyers are socially connected, digitally driven and very mobile, how can you identify and engage with potential buyers?
     
  • Michael Wilson, GlowMetrics: developing a digital marketing strategy suited to your creative business. Michael will also run a Google Analytics workshop, focusing on setting goals and Key Performance Indicators for your digital activity.
     
  • Dina Coughlan, Tremolo Music Publishing, Leitrim: connecting with and selling to customers worldwide.
     
  • Ainslie Peters, Nádhúra, Galway: experience of a design company with a strong digital presence.

There will also be the opportunity to book 1-2-1 clinics with Kevin Neary (Connectors Marketplace) and Denise Rushe (Starling & Co). The clinics are suitable to creative enterprises looking for advice in data analytics, digital marketing, online selling and how to engage the modern buyer.
