The Kids’ Own Book Factory at Sligo Children’s Book Festival

As part of Sligo Children’s Book Festival, Kids’ Own invites families and school groups to take part in a whirlwind of bookmaking in our custom-designed Book Factory at The Model. Kids’ Own will provide an energised, creative space where children can develop artwork and writing alongside professional artist Naomi Draper and create their very own book.

11.00-13.00 (3-4 years) (max 14: one parent – one child)

11.00-13.00 (5-6 years) (max 14: one parent – one child)
14.00-16.00 (9-10 years) (max 15)
All workshops are €8 per child.
The Sligo Children’s Book Festival is a partnership between Kids’ Own, The Hawk’s Well Theatre and The Model, Sligo. Now in its third year, the festival will run from 5-8 March 2015 and includes bookmaking, storytelling, readings and theatre shows.
