SJP International Summer School is a unique festival of jazz, combining education, inspiration and entertainment for musicians of all ages. SJP is Ireland's biggest jazz summer school and includes a festival featuring line-up comprising mainly members of the SJP teaching faculty, all world class performers in their own right. As with all SJP events, student participants get free admission to all festival concerts. All faculty members give one masterclass and two ensemble sessions each day and give up to 2 live performances during the week. The summer school is very performance oriented and participants spend quite a lot of the week playing. The week culminates with a marathon Sunday afternoon concert featuring all participating jazz students.
DEADLINE EXTENDED for REDUCED FEES: Only €350 per person if you pay in full before May 17, 2010! THIS INCLUDES FREE ADMISSION TO ALL EVENING CONCERTS
Although summer school fees will increase after May the 17, the increase will not be more than €100 per person. Shared accommodation deals in YEATS VILLAGE will be still available for as little as €100 per person for the week.
